The industry runs on making things hard to read.
Statements that hide margin in a pass-through bucket. Dispute notices that give you a reason code and no explanation of what it wants. Both problems have the same shape, and both are solvable by somebody willing to read carefully and say what they found.
What we do now
Two things. We build chargeback response tooling for merchants whose processor nobody else integrates with, and we audit processing statements for merchants who suspect they are being taken.
FeeFighters started as a reverse auction marketplace where processors bid for merchant accounts. That business no longer exists, and the pages describing it have been taken down rather than left up to collect traffic under false pretences.
Who we are
FeeFighters is a product from the minds of Phase 3 Business Services LLC. The brand goes back to 2010 and we bought it, domain and all, from Groupon in 2018. The press coverage below belongs to that history, which is now ours.
Merchant accounts opened here are placed with GAM Payments, which handles acceptance, issuing and money movement for mid-market and higher risk merchants. We say that on the page rather than in a footnote. The chargeback tools are processor agnostic by design, because a merchant on Fiserv fighting a dispute is a customer whether or not they ever move their account.
