With all the talk of small businesses driving job creation and helping the economy recover, we at FeeFighters were curious exactly how much of the American economy small businesses represent.

Since we help small to mid size businesses, we were curious to see what % of revenue and payroll could be attributed to small businesses (which we defined as companies have fewer than 100 employees), on a state by state basis. Check out the results below, which may surprise you.
